IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (Category 1-17, except Category 6)
Is the basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods. The module comprised of definition, classes, marking, labeling, handling, storage and emergency response related to dangerous goods shipments. It is based on the IATA DGR table 1.5A for categories 6,7,8,9 and 12 personals. Among them are the staff that involved in the handling, storage and loading of cargo, mail or handling and security screening. This program which is approved by Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia, aimed especially to the staff of logistics companies, security companies, government authorities and other companies that involved in handling of cargo, passengers and baggage’s in the cargo complexes and passenger terminals.
The 2 days module will comes with manual, examples of dangerous goods, examples of hidden dangerous goods, incidents or accident involving dangerous goods, UN packaging materials, labels and marking of dangerous goods. In addition, the cargo security session will explain the prohibited items, treats to the industry and precautions measures.
